BTK confesses

Finally, an end to the saga that has been gripping Wichita, KS for over 30 years. I have been following this case since the reemergence of BTK last year. It is a chilling story, and even more so after watching and listening to him recount his deeds yesterday, via the cameras in the courtroom. This is a sinister man who has no remorse and seems quite proud of his actions. A true monster. A textbook sociopath. True evil.

After reading about his methods, I will never approach life the same way again. I will pay even more attention to what is going on around me. I will be watchful around my home. I will re-emphasize to my children all the safety measures that they should take--especially that they should never open the door to strangers, ever.

BTK is behind bars, but there is still evil in this world. We need to pay attention.
